This week we have found similes in other authors' writing. A simile makes a picture out of words. A simile uses 'like' or 'as' to compare the object to something else. Similes are a good way to build pictures in the mind of the reader. We decided to write about our classmates using similes to describe what they look like, act like and love to do.
